Welcome! My name is Marianna Lovato and I am a third-year PhD candidate at the School of Politics and International Relations (University College Dublin). I obtained my MPhil in European Politics at the University of Oxford and my BA in Political Science at SciencesPo Paris. My research interests revolve around European foreign policy, CFSP/CSDP, EU decision-making, negotiation theory and qualitative methods. My first peer-reviewed publication, “Getting your House in Order for EU Negotiations: When Domestic Constraints Condition Italy’s Performance at the EU Level“, is now out in the Journal of Common Market Studies.
